Cate Campbell has given herself the chance to finish the Pan Pacs with five gold medals after qualifying fastest for the 50m freestyle final on the final night of competition.
Campbell clocked 24.41 seconds to top the timesheets in Tokyo by 0.06 from fellow Australian Emma McKeon. World titles bronze medallist Simone Manuel of the United States was third fastest.
