Collingwood set up a blockbuster AFL preliminary final clash with Richmond thanks to a hard-fought 10-point win over GWS at the MCG. The Pies led by just three points at three-quarter time but kicked the first three goals of the final term to score a 9.15 (69) to 9.5 (59) win in front of 72,504 fans on Saturday night. Melbourne will come to a standstill next Friday night with the traditional rivals and powerhouse Victorian clubs to face off at the MCG for a place in the grand final.
