Deal reached week after UN says genocide is still taking place against Muslim minority
Bangladesh and Myanmar have reached a deal to start returning Rohingya refugees to Myanmar by mid-November, a Bangladeshi official has said.
Last week UN investigators said genocide was still taking place against Rohingya Muslims remaining in Myanmar, and that the government was increasingly demonstrating it had no interest in establishing a fully functioning democracy.
