Flight recorder analysis begins on Leicester City helicopter crash

Air accident team to start investigation into crash as police name four other victims

The Air Accident Investigations Branch has said it has recovered the digital flight data recorder from the helicopter which crashed killing the owner of Leicester City, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, and the four others onboard. The AAIB has said it will begin analysis straight away.

The incident occurred on Saturday night outside the football club’s stadium. Leicestershire police have named the four other people killed as Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, both members of Vichai’s staff, pilot Eric Swaffer and passenger Izabela Roza Lechowicz.
