Buckingham claims the 50-city tour, which began last week, would have earned him up to US$14 million
Guitarist Lindsey Buckingham is suing his former Fleetwood Mac bandmates, accusing them of breach of contract for cutting him out of their North American tour and the millions of dollars he would have earned from it.
Buckingham, 69, the lead guitarist and influential member of the British-American band behind hits such as Don’t Stop and Rhiannon, was dropped earlier this year from the tour lineup and replaced by Mike Campbell from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Crowded House’s Neil Finn.
