- Diamonds players’ seasons extended by three weeks
Super Netball’s 2019 season will have a unique mid-season break to tie in with next year’s World Cup in England. In 2011 and 2015, the trans-Tasman competition in operation back then started earlier than usual in February and was completed before the World Cup tournaments in those respective years. However, the third season of Australia’s domestic competition overlaps with the World Cup, which will be held from 12-21 July in Liverpool.
