Company says ‘faulty vendor equipment’ to blame as business owners express frustration

A nationwide Telstra outage affecting numerous Eftpos machines and ATMs has continued into its second day, prompting the telco to advise people to carry cash instead of relying on tap-and-go.

As people stepped out for their Saturday morning brunch, business owners expressed frustration that they remained unable to charge customers using Eftpos, a whole day after the network first went down.
