Rare animal skeletons stolen from university museum in Sydney

Items are original specimens collected by a natural history dealer and taxidermist from Prague and date back to 1880

Police are investigating the theft of several rare animal skeletons, including a “full hippopotamus skull”, from a university campus in Sydney.

They say thieves made off with valuable animal skeletons from a university campus museum in Camperdown last week between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
