Former India Test star Harbhajan Singh has effectively called Andrew Symonds a liar and accused the Australian of being a “fiction writer” over his version of the “Monkeygate” controversy.
Singh allegedly called Symonds a monkey during a 2008 Test match at the SCG. To mark the 10-year anniversary of the infamous incident, Symonds was interviewed by Fox Cricket and claimed Singh tearfully apologised to him in 2011.
