Ben Barba has been deregistered by the NRL after an integrity unit investigation found he had been involved in a physical altercation with his partner, and the league’s CEO, Todd Greenberg, on Tuesday declared it is time for the fullback to find a new vocation.
The 2012 Dally M winner and 2016 premiership winner Barba had already been sacked by North Queensland after the Australia Day weekend incident which is under police investigation.
