Nauert, a former Fox News host, said she was not going ahead with appointment for family reasons
The White House says Donald Trump’s nominee for US ambassador to UN, Heather Nauert, has withdrawn.
The US department of state released a statement on Saturday evening Washington time saying Nauert had withdrawn another nominee would be announced “soon”.
