Ghana: At least 60 die as two buses collide in Bono East

Buses were carrying about 50 passengers each at time of collision, say police

At least 60 people have been killed in a head-on collision between two buses in Ghana, said police, in the latest deadly crash on the country’s roads.

The smash happened on Friday at about 2am (0200 GMT) in the Bono East region, about 430km (270 miles) north of the capital, Accra.
