Supporters of killed journalist daub red paint on republican party’s Derry headquarters
Friends of the journalist Lyra McKee have staged a protest outside the Derry offices of Saoradh, a republican party that reflects New IRA thinking, underlining a continuing revulsion against the group after her killing.
McKee, an investigative journalist and author, was standing beside a police Land Rover observing a riot in the Creggan area of Derry last week when she was shot dead. She was 29.
