Disruption in capital continues into second day following Extinction Rebellion actions
Police have arrested more than 100 environmental protesters overnight as the climate demonstrations that brought chaos to central London enters its second day.
Thousands of people blocked four well-known London landmarks on Monday – Waterloo Bridge, Marble Arch, Parliament Square and Oxford Circus – to demand urgent action over the escalating ecological crisis.
