Yemen: Houthis begin Hodeida port pullout

UN supervisor welcomes long-delayed implementation of Stockholm ceasefire deal

Yemen’s Houthi rebels will begin a pullback from ports in the flashpoint city of Hodeida on Saturday, the first practical step on the ground since a ceasefire deal was reached in December, the head of a UN redeployment committee has said.

The long-delayed withdrawal of rebel forces would be completed by Tuesday, said General Michael Lollesgaard.
