Darwin shooting: police called about behaviour of alleged killer before shootings

Police say alleged gunman came to their attention twice in hours before attack

The 45-year-old man suspected of carrying out the Darwin shooting came to the attention of the police twice on Tuesday, hours before the deadly attack.

With police set to charge the suspected gunman later on Thursday, the Northern Territory police commissioner, Reece Kershaw, has revealed that a member of the public called police to an address outside of Darwin before the shooting on Tuesday.
