Data shows half the children placed in motels, apartments and hotels over the past five years are Indigenous
The New South Wales government has removed more than 2,000 children from their homes over five years only to place them in motels, apartments and hotels.
In the 2017-18 financial year alone, the Berejiklian government spent $43.4m on these emergency and “alternative care arrangements”.
