Tamil family's deportation delayed until Friday after 'surprise' development

The Tamil family fighting deportation from Australia will remain in the country until at least Friday, after a Federal Court judge ruled the family should be allowed to consider a "surprise" development overnight, where Immigration Minister David Coleman said he would not exercise his discretion to allow the youngest daughter to stay in Australia.
