AFLW season up in air after bargaining agreement fails to pass player vote

  • Only 70% of players vote in favour; 75% needed
  • AFLPA to meet players before further talks with AFL

The 2020 AFLW season remains in the balance with a proposed collective bargaining agreement failing to pass a player vote. AFLW players and the AFL Players’ Association will return to the negotiating table after not enough players had voted in favour of a planned CBA.
