Helicopter crashes into powerlines in NSW Riverina district

The helicopter, which had at least one person on board, crashed about midday on Friday

A helicopter has reportedly crashed with a least one person on board in the Western Riverina district of New South Wales.

A spokesman for Ambulance NSW said a triple zero call suggested the aircraft crashed into powerlines in the township of Steam Plains around three hours west of Wagga Wagga.
