Senior constable, 50, in stable condition in hospital with wounds to stomach, chest and neck
A man will face court after allegedly stabbing a police officer in the stomach, chest and neck at a far north Queensland shopping centre.
The 22-year-old and the 50-year-old senior constable, who was on foot patrol at Cairns Central, started having a conversation on McLeod Street, Cairns, about 2.20pm on Tuesday.
