Berejiklian government ‘on a dangerous path to ruining lives’, open letter says
Aboriginal organisations, legal groups and thousands of community members are pleading with the New South Wales government to abandon its controversial changes to child protection, which are due to be passed into law today.
The Berejiklian government says the amendments will ensure a permanent home for all children within two years, so they are not bounced around the out-of-home care system for years on end.
